The best ride you'll ever have

A tidbit of info
Sky's The Limit has been in operation for more than 20 years. We offer both types of instruction, Accelerated Freefall and Static Line. Rigging services are available on premises. We operate two Cessna 182's and have larger aircraft on occasion.

We are a small dropzone with a great family attitude. There's no such thing as a stranger here. We love to jump, and we love to hang out. What better way to spend a day than soaring through the air with some good scenery, and some great friends!

The Sky's the Limit

As I was suiting up
And we were climbing,
Even when I stepped out of the door,
My confidence was true and real,
I felt as though I had done this before.
The first few seconds of the fall
They did not seem real,
For I saw myself through eyes behind my body,
Not even the wind I did feel.
But as my speed increased
I felt the wind
And my ears began to ring.
To look at earth from open air,
I have found out why birds sing.
Men in flight,
Four by number,
Playing through the air.
Now formation, salutes and smiles,
Two begin to flare.
Arms to side,
Heads toward earth,
They quickly are below.
In unison, knees pulled to chest,
Backwards are their rolls.
I did not feel like I was falling
But then I just sort of stopped.
It was only then that I did realize,
I had indeed and certainly dropped.
A wing above my head now,
Silent and serene
A soft white cloud
I pass right through,
And God creates another dream.
Spiral down in wide soft circles,
To the left,
Now to the right,
I'm just a human,
Yet with this wing
I truly am in flight.
The ground is drawing nearer now
Toggles down to flare,
Toes touch first
And walk right in,
I'm no longer in God's hair.
Mother earth that stable force,
Again beneath my feet,
Looking skyward from where I just came,
In awe at mind and God's new feat.
I touched God's smile,
And He touched mine,
At one-twenty was the speed.
To touch God's smile
Again and again,
I do still have the need.
